Student Ambassador Application Now Open

Student Ambassadors will represent the Edmond Public Schools Foundation and work to increase and enhance community awareness of the Foundation in the community and their school. Ambassadors have the opportunity to develop leadership and volunteer skills, as well as utilize their talents to build a professional network.

Opportunities to build skills  include:  social media promotion, fundraising, graphic design, public speaking, photography, video creation and editing, event planning, community outreach, network building and collaboration.

Tasks:
-In conjunction with the Board member representative for their school, represent the Foundation at school activities
-Join at least one committee
-Engage with Edmond Public Schools on social media platforms
-Assist with fundraising events
-Work as a group to host at least one fundraising event that involves the student population
-Assist with office tasks as needed (i.e. mailings, etc.)
-Attend the monthly Student Ambassador meeting
-Attend one Edmond Public Schools Foundation Board of Directors Meeting

Members:
Students must be entering 9th, 10th, 11th, or 12th grade for the 2019-2020 school year and provide a recommendation letter from a school representative or anther nonprofit where they have demonstrated leadership in volunteerism.
