Deanna Boston, Executive Director

I have called Edmond home for fourteen years and moved here for the excellent schools and supportive community. I am passionate about public education and I feel privileged to have the opportunity to utilize my nonprofit experience for Edmond Public Schools where my son is receiving an excellent education!

I have twenty years’ experience as a professional in the nonprofit sector and have worked as an Executive Director, Chief Operating Officer (COO), Community Relations Director and consultant. I have a Master’s in Nonprofit Management, am a Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE) and have additional nonprofit training from numerous institutions including the University of Pennsylvania, Lilly School of Philanthropy and BoardSource. I am a member of Alpha Sigma Nu, an honor society dedicated to service to others, and a graduate of Leadership Tulsa. When working on my master’s degree, my research on telephone solicitations laws in all fifty states led to changes in Oklahoma nonprofit laws through the Oklahoma Charitable Solicitations Act.  [email protected]

Anita Nash, Executive Assistant

My love for Edmond Public Schools (EPS) began in 1996 when my son started kindergarten and we have had a child in EPS since!  I’ve served as PTO President at Will Rogers, Central, Chisholm and Cimarron, was President of the Performing Arts Council of Edmond at Edmond Memorial High School, was the Edmond Memorial Vertical Representative on the EPS Professional Development Committee and served on the District Teacher of the Year committee. Before working for the Edmond Public Schools Foundation (EPSF), I served as a board member for two years. As an EPSF Board Member, I’ve been a part of interviewing teachers for Great Idea Grants, as well as interviewing high school students for the Leadership Edmond Program and college scholarships.

I feel fortunate to be a part of something that makes a difference in EPS. As my family will tell you, I’ve been volunteering in some capacity for EPS since back in 1996 when my son started kindergarten at Will Rogers. My husband and I have 3 children and our youngest will graduate from EMHS in 2021.  [email protected]
